I had a relative come over to help build my PC for me. In short, we finished, but I don't get a signal on my monitor. He keeps trying to tell me I have the wrong kind of memory, but I've looked online and it says it's compatible. I have the G. Skill Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4-2400 CL15-15-15-35 1.20V Intel XMP 2.0 Ready memory or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231888. Is he right or did he do something wrong?

Could you provide the Serial number of the Memorymodules? X99 is a great chipset in terms of capabilities, but I heard a lot of defects after a short time of running or even on arrival. My first one was also broken after 4 months. So it should be easy to find out whats wrong in your case. What code Shows the Motherboard (the red digital numbers)? And are there red lights lighting, (small bright ones)?
