Nvidia driver uninstalling seriously..

I know this shouldn't be such an ordeal but how is everyone uninstalling their nvidia drivers because the last uninstall I did from add/remove programs resulted in the driver still being active creating a headache an having to resort to DDU. Did I just have bad luck with this uninstall? It should just be as easy as uninstalling from add/remove programs right?

Yep.

Nvidia Experience does the exact same thing as installing it manually. Just installs it right on top of the old ones. The C:\Nvidia folder is there extract the files into before installing, so it would make sense that the folder it makes to put the installers would be full of installers.

I'm on Win 8.1. Are you sure about installing over the top? I had been updating through nvidia experience and then I noticed a huge nvidia folder. Turned out it was full of multiple nvidia install files...

Yep.
