Had my pc for just over 2 years now and it has been well looked after with regular dust cleans and very nice upgrades.. But recently my pc has become very sluggish and acting out of normal.. Sometimes it will just turn it's self of and won't come up with error messages or boot messages. The general loading of stuff has been slow aswel but once running software like games it works fine. Any ideas?

start with posting your hardware - and we might come up with an idea...
if you maintained it fine, (checked all cables after dust clening?) it sounds in first step like aging PSU oder aged capacitor on mainboard side - but details first please

Processor
GPU- AMD FX6300
RAM- 12GB (2x4+2x2)
PSU- Corsair 750wt bronze standard
MB- ASUS M5A78L-M
Fans- 3x120mm (1 top outflow, 2 front inflow)
Chasis- Aerocool ds200
PSU and Chasis were new last christmas, got a aftermarket cpu cooler as well. I think there is everything you need to know there but if i missed something please dont hesitate to ask me for it. Many thanks
