Building my first build - Can someone give me advice

Hi there, I've been meaning to build a computer for sometime and recently decided that I should just go for it. My purpose for building it is to understand how computers work and have a pc that I can use for work. I'm not interested in a gaming pc and would rather build one for a cheaper price. Anyways here are the parts I chose:

I went with a bigger case to help me with cable management and to give me more space for the future in case I wanted to upgrade my pc. Also I was thinking of the Corsair Carbid SPEC 01 too: http://www.vortez.net/articles_pages/corsair_carbide_spec_01_review,10.html. Anyways this is what I got right now. Thank you so much!

CPU + MB - Look toward the current generation Skylake and related. B150 or H170 for a motherboard preferably with 4 memory slots...
CPU COOLER - Not needed when not overclocking.
CASE - The Deepcool you listed is a good budget option as is the BF below. ...I like it better than the SPEC 01, but to each their own.
PSU - No... Don't skimp here. XFX, Seasonic, the EVGA G2 lineup, or filter through the Tier 1 or Tier 2 list. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Enjoy that build! If you can add to the budget, an SSD would be a very welcome upgrade.
