So I've been getting this constant bad image error popup. It'll occur upon starting my computer with the title "NvBackend.exe - Bad Image" and body "C:\Windows/system32\NLAapi.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support." This popup will occur again with different titles depending on what programs I open, such as WoW or Origin. It will come back over and over, even if I hit OK or exit out.

I was told to do a windows scan in cmd, which said that I had corrupted files it cannot fix. I tried again in safe mode, with the same results. I have my CBS log, but I don't know how to put it on here without putting a boatload of text.

I suspect either the hard drive or one or more RAM modules may be failing, so I suggest you test both with diagnostic software via a bootable CD:

SeaTools for DOS: http://www.seagate.com/gb/en/support/downloads/item/seatools-dos-master/

MemTest86 V6.3.0 Free Edition: http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm

When testing RAM, test each module on it's own so you know which one (if any) has errors.
