So I bought a Bitfenix Prodigy M a week ago and used it in a build with the Asus H81m-Plus and everything worked as expected.

I just upgraded the board to an Asus B150m, and everything works except the power button on the case. I powered it on just fine with the screwdriver method and have as of lately connected the Reset Switch to the Power Switch pins, and now power the PC on with the Reset button.

So is it the fault of the case? Is my only solution to order a new side panel?

If the power button doesn't work in spite of you reversing the leads that connect to your motherboard then the power switch is damaged though this isn't quite possible. I'd ask you to flip the leads that go up to your board to try and verify that the power switch is itself dead.
