tl;dr NEED AN UPGRAGE! First build. Need advice and a few questions that I cant find on boards. Lots of text incoming. I am trying to know this inside and out before I drop $1200 as a college kid.
Current system:
Dell Inspiron N5050 laptop i3 2370m with IGPU, connected to a 1 year old 21' Vizio tv w/HDMI..
I play slither.io, LoL, rocket league, and CS:GO on it currently.
Minimum graphics, I hope for a stable 40 fps... at 1366x768.
$10 sentey nebulus "gaming" mouse
$20 Blackweb "gaming" keyboard
-I am looking for some advice on building a $1000-$1200 desktop PC build, without peripherals.
-Would LIKE to game at 1440p 60 fps, but will be at 1080p 75 fps when streaming if needed.
-I will be gaming, streaming, and hopefully making some nice gaming videos on youtube.
-GAMES BF, CoD, Overwatch, Rocket League, LoL, GTA5, Witcher 3, and many future games.
Will continue to use my Vizio TV as my monitor while I work and save money for a nice monitor. I am thinking about getting a 1440p 60fps IPS monitor if my pc can drive/handle steady 1440p with a 1070 or 480x. I will get freesync if I get 480x, but gsync is to pricey for me.
Questions:
***I am currently planning on buying this in 1 large checkout through newegg. Is this ok?
1. I would like this to be somewhat futureproof, so I went with OC'able parts. Is this wise?
2. Should I OC when I get it or OC later on when it needs it? (assuming it wont need it out of box).
3. Does OC decrease the life of your parts? If so, is it a significant decrease? (1%, 10%, 50% etc)
4. OC'ing is complicated. If I OC my cpu, will I need to OC everything else (gpu/ram/mobo/etc) to notice the difference?
5. Is it easy to accidently destroy a pc when you are light OC'ing? (plan on researching OCing more)
6. Will I even need to OC to begin with or is that mainly for 1-2 years down the road when your system isn't up to date?
7. When I get a nice gaming monitor, what will I use to connect the 2. VGA? HDMI? something else?

-gpu ??? I selected a gtx 970, but I doubt this will go in my PC. I will either grab a gtx 1070, or an AMD 480x. Silly question, hehe, I can use the 480x in this build right? I've done reading and I think amd OR gtx should work in this build, but I want to cover my ass on this one.
-amd 480x crossfire vs gtx1070. Will be similar priced, will wait for actual benchmarks. I know single gpus are usually best, but if crossfire 480s are way better, I may go for that headache
-cpu I read that i7 6700k is amazing for streaming, so I dropped another $100 for it over i5 6600k.
-mobo BY FAR hardest choice. Lots of similar priced, all with decent reviews. No clear winner.
I did like the MSI gaming m5, but read to many bad reviews, so I went with this Gigabyte counterpart. I dont know a whole lot about feature differences. I've spent hours reading and comparing mobos, but in the end they all seem similar and there is so much Bull*** selling done by companies its hard to distinguish a "best".
-OS I plan on buying either Windows 7 or Windows 10 off Kinguin. I've seen it for $20-$35.
-Storage: going with 250GB SSD first, then upgrading with a WD/Seagate 2TB HDD.
-ram This board says it can use DDR4 2400 RAM.
-Case nzxt s340. I like the look, and have read incredible reviews on it. Said to be a great First build case, with perfect wire management and space. Any downsides to this case?
-case fans 2 additional 120 case fans. They are cheap, quiet, and match my build. perfect.
Smaller, more CFM, and quieter than the Corsair AF140 Quiet edition. HOW? what am I missing?
-psu I picked a fully modular psu because I have read that modular is SO nice to have. Also I went with 750W becuase I will be OC'ing and will probably add/upgrade video cards. Also it is a really quality PSU to my knowledge (read/compared psu reviews)
