I have used the [modem]-[wireless router]-[switch] configuration, but want to have the ability to keep an active wired connection when the wireless router is intentionally turned off (to keep kids off wireless).
I tried [modem]-[switch]-[router]. This almost works, but the switch outputs not connected to the router have no internet access.
Can I do [modem]-[wired IP sharing router]-[wireless router] and use the other ports on the wired router for internet access? (Like Linkskey LKR-604, or TP-LINK TL-R600VPN)
