Hello,
I have been looking into overclocking my GPU and the first thing I noticed in GPU-Z was that my card wasn't runnning on pcie 3.0 16x even with the render test runnning, it runs a 8x. The GPU is the only pcie card, in the slot recommended by ASUS.
Going through the BIOS I could not find any settings to make it run at 16x, only a readout saying my GPU was in the x16_1 slot and running "8x native"
I have read that the graphics might not use all 16 lanes if it doesn't need them (and indeed the card throttles down to pcie 1.1 8x when idle) but even with the card running at near 100% usage. it never goes above 3.0 8x.
Not really sure if it's a motherboard problem, but the card is telling GPU-Z it supports 16x so I'm giving the card the benefit of the doubt and posting this in the motherboard section.

2 samsung 850 evos in hardware RAID
8gb Corsair DDR 2400 Memory.
