Fan speed 0 rpm message

I recently got a new motherboard and CPU. I just started getting an alert stating my cpu fan speed was at 0.

I noticed through HWMonitor that every time this happens, it's showing the fan running, but the "min" value is at 0. When getting the message, I checked and the CPU fans are still going as well.

Doing some research on this notification it seems most people say to just ignore it. Just want to make sure. Any idea what would cause the "min" value to be reset to 0? When I reboot, HWM shows the min value again.

Thanks!

This is completely fine when the CPU temperatures are fine. I'm not sure what exactly causes this, but I have a PC that reads sub-zero CPU temperatures (This is not possible if you understand laws of thermodinamics).
