im scared of the danger of liquid cooling and i would honestly be safe if i put a pan over it just in case is it ok to do so will something happen

Solution
If you're talking about all in one liquid coolers, they are VERY unlikely to leak.
I've had a corsair H100 for ~18 months and no issues.

Can't remember how they are powered, but you can test before you install, or just leave the case open and keep a close eye after you install.
When you do install be a bit gentle with it. Don't pull on the hoses or bend them etc.

Splendid
Leaks often drip down the mobo. Use medical grade de-ionised water, it's non conductive.
I had a leak with my PC on while on holiday, no damage, kept working for years.
A tray might help if you're lucky. OBVIOUSLY don't put a metal tray in your computer. The risk of it touching and shorting something is extremely high.
