So I already have 16 gb in ram, and a intel core i5-4570 cpu. and I want to get the MSI Intel Skylake B150 LGA 1151 DDR4 USB 3.1 ATX Motherboard (B150 PC Mate) and in graphics a ASUS GeForce GTX 960 STRIX-GTX960-DC2OC-4GD5 4GB I already have another graphics card but only 1gb, and a 500w power suplie, I want to get a mother board that is compaible with intel core and that supports that graphics card with enough power, also I'll be adding a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan, so what do you guys think? i was originally going for MSI Z97 PC Mate LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard but I'm not sure, I don't really know alot about PC parts, so I'll appreciate the help!

Solution
The motherboard and the CPU aren't compatible, and the RAM and motherboard won't be either. Go with a h97 motherboard as it will work just fine for you, also, unless you live in a hot climate, there is no need to get the CM 212 EVO for your build, if you already have it, by all means use it but it isn't needed

Solution
No, the B150 is LGA1151, while the Z97 is LGA1150. Your CPU is LGA 1150. Get the motherboard that you originally wanted. Make sure that your RAM is DDR3, not 4. Everything else looks fine.

I'm also concerned about the power supply. It's not a good idea to buy the 960 either, as the RX 480 is coming out and is probably going to be much better with a similar price.
