When putting in my new ram i put it in the wrong way so a holding thing on one of the sides snapped off it still fits in and the other holder works but is there any probalem with one of them not being there?

Solution
Yes, the RAM needs to be fully secured to work properly. Being that the motherboard sits on its side it will work its way out.

There is no simple way to fix this, maybe a technician at the manufacturer, but at this point it may be wise to just buy a new board.

It needs to be fully secured on both sides.

You can try to run it, it may well work fine, but most likely it will give you issues, as the ram will eventually lose contact, if contact is even strong enough as is.
