Should I buy a new 1tb Seagate hdd with official 2 years warranty manufacturing date is Dec 2015, which a user bought n selling it n have remaining 1 years 8month warranty left. N sealed packed,
Or

fresh refurbished (these r imported n sold by shops or online seller n r cheap due to old n refurbished )

Wd blue 500gb fresh refurbished manufacturing date is 2012 (1tb not available at the moment)

Or wd black fresh refurbished manufacturing date is 2010-11 (1tb) or 2013(1tb or 500gb)

These refurbished are imported and sold here cheap compare to new wd black n blue in the market.
And these don't have warranty unlike official warranty. But lucky these r 64mb cache.

If I compare the price .
Seagate 1tb sealed one warranty which he selling at =$40-43
Wd blue fresh 1tb=$40-43
Wd blue fresh 1tb=$40-45

Wd blue fresh 500gb =$20-25
Wd black fresh 500gb =$20-25

So should I go with the warranty or should I go for refurbished.
1tb will be for storage or I buy 500gb refurbished for storage until 2tb come down as the price of 1tb :p

Maybe you should get the newer hard drive from seagate. Personally, I think Western Digital can sometimes cause less problems than Seagate if you're lucky enough or whatever, but the newer the hard drive, the better. Hard Drives improve over the years, I think atleast
