My PC turns off randomly when i browse the internet or play videos. I also play heavy games like GTA V, the Division, etc but this problem has never occurred during gaming.
people are saying its the PSU thats faulty.

my specs are
intel core i5 4690k
8 gb ram
Asus strix gtx 970
Antec tp-750 PSU
the rig is a year old. Previously i had the corsair VS550 PSU which gave me random shutdowns during games. i replaced that with Antec tp-750; which is a second-hand unit.

any clue whats the problem ?

With something second-hand, anything can go wrong. It could easily be that the PSU isn't capable of handling
the low voltage states that 4th Gen Haswell processors introduced and thus the system shuts down when it's doing
things which only require a small amount of current. Hence why there were "Haswell-certified" PSUs as well.
