Hi! I'm completely new to all of this PC buying stuff. To be honest, I was tempted to just buy a Wal-Mart PC, but then I remembered the laptop I bought from them a couple years back that turned out to be a total rip-off. I'm requesting advice on whether this build I put together in CyberPowerPC.com was decent, and if I messed up anything. I would also appreciate tips. I am currently looking to be able to play League of Legends at max settings, Starcraft 2 at medium-high, Diablo 3 at medium-high, and run CSGO smoothly at medium-high settings. Thank you all in advance! Oh, and I would really appreciate tips regarding how to buy a cheap PC monitor that is huge in size.

For 1000 dollars, that is a horrible computer. Absolutely horrible. You can build a much better computer for a lot cheaper and still come in well under budget. The games you listed, at those quality settings aren't too much of a strain on a budget video card. My wifes 250 dollar laptop can max out settings on LoL as an example.

The best solution is to build your own, buying from a boutique is going to add several hundred dollars to the build. For that budget, an entire pc including OS and monitor/mouse/keyboard/speakers is easily doable, and you won't be playing those games on medium settings. Ultra easy @1080p.

Intel i5 Cpu with appropriate motherboard. 16gb's CAS 14 Ram. Standard 1tb HDD with 240gb SSD. Radeon 380x video card, however, the new releases are right around the corner and I've been hearing good things about the 480 for 200 dollars. Still in your budget too, so you might wait till the end of the month and see.

Win10, 23" monitor, Keyboard/mouse combo. Obligatory optical drive. No speakers included so you'll have to pick those out yourself. Solid Psu and nice case round out the build.

IN comparison between the two builds, there is no comparison. Building your own, you will always get a better pc than going to a build your own site. There is literally an order of magnitude of difference in performance between these two builds.

Generally speaking, CyberPower is NotRecommended around here.
We've seen far too many horror stories of bad parts, used parts sold as new, crappy construction...

Just at a glance:
That monitor, while large, is prettty crappy. There is a reason it is only $180 for a 32"
PSU? Junk
CPU? That is a 4 year old chip, on a dead end line.
GPU? Mediocre

You can do MUCH better for $1000.

Oh crap I forgot to mention that I would highly prefer computers that have already been built. I helped a friend build his computer last year, and we ran into multiple complications, such as forgetting to buy certain parts and stuff. I would really, really prefer a premade computer if possible. Swordkd and USAFRet, do you have any recommendations on prebuilt PCs under 1000 that would still be able to run my games? Thanks in advance!
