I'm going into college soon, I liked to follow a career in gaming or computers, I know a lot about the hardware, not the greatest drawer but I can make something if you give me the design what jobs do you recommend?

Solution
Get the basics done first. English, math, and so forth.
If you want to work in Gaming you will need to learn 3d modeling or programming. The most common 3d modeling in gaming is 3d studio max. The most common programming language is c++.
If you want a job in "computers", I suggest you study towards a degree in IT. Hot subjects in IT include scripting/automation (especially Powershell), networking, and large enterprise software support (such as exchange, apache, Windows Server and Linux server OS).

What are your strong skills? I found Engineering to by my best set, so I went that way, so I can use computers and my skills with them, but not end up hating them by over-exposure.

Think of it this way, if you end up hating computers because you chose to work with them daily, where will your hobby go? Balance is key when it comes to long term career choices. Your computer skills will help get and keep jobs in the right path.

Detevtive Marvel,

I would say first become a great coder /developer on multiple platforms and concentrate on visualization, mobile, and VR. Along the way, keep in close touch with smart phones apps and games, and especially VR- the Next Big Things, whatever they are. Have steady work coding for a company that works in the areas of interest and you can design and work on development within the company, seeing the sequence of work and the business side close up. At the same time work independently on your own products while maintaining solid employment and making industry contacts.

It sounds silly, but if you can find a way to do it, watch. every single episode of the HBO series, "Silicon Valley."! That world just has to be eccatly as it's seen in that series/
