Is this a good gaming rig? It's my first time so I'm not sure if there are better deals.

That will be a good gaming rig. You might hold off a couple of weeks for the RX 480 which will cost around the same as the 380, but have better performance. I would also use a little better quality PSU like a Seasonic S12II 520 or XFX TS 550.

I like it, but i would quit the 380, due the RX 480 is released in some weeks, and the PSU, try to go for Supernova B2 from EVGA, or well, go for Seasonic or XFX TS/ProSeries.
Recommendation: Add a SSD if you budget can affort, you have no idea how fast is windows is in it!

Go for a Z170 mobo instead. You may want to add a 250GB or higher SSD. If you have any extra money go for a 1070/80. You still need a WiFi adapter and a Windows licensee
