CPU bottleneck and socket question

I currently have an i7 3820 CPU with a GTX 670. Im looking to upgrade my gpu to a gtx 1070 or rx 480, but im unsure whether my cpu will bottleneck the system. If it were to bottleneck, can I use an i7 5820k with my intel dx79to motherboard?

That is still a very powerfull CPU. No worries.
Not that it's needed, but the 5820k wouldnt work anyway on that MB.

Get a 1070 if you game at 1440p, or at 1080p 144Hz and really care about hitting very high fps.
FOr 1080p 60Hz, the RX 480 would be better suited.

The 1070 at this point in time. The RX480 is designed for the price/performance segment.
