I wanted to clean up my computer prior to Windows 10 download. So, I moved all my important stuff onto my 1TB storage drive, disconnected it, and then tried to remove the raid array and format the 2x 128GB drives with the hopes of doing a fresh install of the OS onto one of the 128GB drives and keeping the 1TB storage drive and converting the extra 128GB SSD into an alternate storage. If I try to do a fresh install onto either of the SSDs, it won't let me, cannot form a partition of the usable space it tells me. I transferred the SSDs into another computer and using diskpart and disk management tools, I cannot find the other half of the drives. I can only ever make these drives 59GB. Please help. I am running Windows 7 on one computer and WIndows 10 on the other.

Hey there, CDNkid.

Would you please post a screenshot of what you see about those drives in Disk Management (you can use imgur.com to upload the image)?

Basically you could either try secure erasing them via the SSD manufacturer's management tool (most SSD manufacturers offer such tools for their devices), or try some of the options from that article: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/securely-erase-ssd-without-destroying/.

Please let me know how it goes.
