I'm suffering from a complication with a CPU. My motherboard is a sabertooth x79. My processor is an intel i7-4820k. Everything is plugged in correctly and my cpu_led light is red and I can't figure out why. Upon research I seen it could be cpu not powered or cpu not laying in socket well. I do notice pin damage but can that be fixed for a reasonable price? Or could there be a chance my motherboards BIOS is outdated and can't recognizing the processor? I would like to hear from someone with the same problem and how they resolved it or just anyone's basic experience with trouble shooting. I've tried booting with one GPU and one stick of RAM but I dont think that has anything to do with the red cpu_led being on.
CPU_LED Red. No Boot but everything else is powered and runs.
