Hello Tom's hardware community, I have been following Tom's Hardware for 10+ years- but this is my first time posting here. I usually research my own problems, but I understand a problem such as this can be very system specific.

I am having a problem with the BSOD- I just re-installed windows after thinking maybe it would help, I am still having the problem. The only one so far on this new installation occurred while installing new drivers for the installed GTX 960, it was in the phase of installation where it was installing .net (though it seemed to be stuck). I ran windows memory test and it turned up no errors and all temperatures seem to be within reasonable margins. Here is a pastebin readout of my DxDiag- http://pastebin.com/ZHQchkf3 . Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hello... let's see what the OS is reporting as the error... Right click computer-manage-Windows logs-system.... Click on the "RED" errors, for more information... and files/drivers/Apps, comments/suggestions/information associated with them B )

Posting screen images from here will help me, help you faster... But copy and posting text will work too B )

Maybe I was having BSOD on my previous installs because of registry errors, and the one time on this install because of a problem with the NVIDIA drivers that I was installing when it happened?

Hello... You were right!!! looks like the Nvidia HDMI Digital driver was not installed... use the Nvidia install media again and choose "custom"... and install HDMI Digital driver for it...Ok B )

in the future... You need TWO drivers for a Video card... the Video and the audio... OK B )
