i have a hp laptop, i dont know the exact model but it is a pavilion 15 with touchscreen and beats audio. its specs are:
A10 5745m
8 GB ram
Hd 8610g integ gpu
r7 m260 dedi gpu
the laptop is not giving a good performance when playing games. i know its not a gaming laptop and i am not even expecting it to give me 60 fps at 1080p but the performance in games is just so bad. the park is a indie game with good graphics and the laptop gives 10 to 14 fps while using the dedicated card and 10 fps when i use the integ. theres not much difference in fps when i change the settings from low to ultra. The very slight change in fps from low to ultra and not much difference in changing the gpus makes me think that the r7 m260 is not performing well.
games in which i get less than 15 fps at medium to low are cities skyline, mad max , and simcity lags.
mad max is very ell optimized and should work at around 20-25 fps at atleast low at 640x480.
the driver is 15.201.
plz tell me why this is so and what i can do to increase performance or if these games are not supposed to run
