so i have been searching for the answer to this all over the web i even placed tickets in with both asus and evga and havent heard anything. so heres the parts

evga 430 watt power supply
asus 970 pro gamming/aura

the mother board power plugs in just fine.
but the power for the processor only 6 fit not the +2 (EATX12V)
i dont know if i need all 8 or if the 6 is fine or if microcenter just had me buy the wrong one.
any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
The 6+2 is for Graphic Cards , USE THE 4+4 for CPU power.
1 x 4 + 4-Pin EPS12V < CPU
1 x 6 + 2-Pin PCI-E < GRAPHIC CARDS

Your PSU has the cables you need , you just chose the wrong one.
