Greeting Tom'sHardware Community,

I am looking for a gpu on a budget of $120 (no more) that can play games such as Rise of the Tomb Raider, Beam.ng Drive, CS:GO, etc. as an upgrade from my R7 250x. I want at least 40fps while running any game.

System Specs:

CPU: Athlon ii x3 455 (not overclocked) (not unlocked)
GPU: XFX R7 250x
RAM: 6gb (1x2gb 1x4gb)
MB: Asrock 970m Pro3
PSU: Cooler Master Elite 400w
Monitor: Acer K202HQL

Cheers!

Solution
If you want to buy "today" (something new will always be available "tomorrow"), you might find a deal on a GTX950 for that, and if not a GTX750Ti should just barely meet your requirements. Your PSU is weak, and low quality, so a stronger card is not an option for you unless you replace the PSU first. I recently found a GTX950 that needed no auxiliary power, but I believe it was $140.

Edit: Please be aware that your CPU is weak by modern standards, and may hold back performance in some of these games. If lowering graphics settings does not make much difference in FPS, your CPU is the bottleneck.
