Hey everyone. A little while ago, AT&T Uverse was sold out to a little known company called Frontier. Ever since then, I've had problems with slow internet speed. We called a couple weeks ago about it, and our slow internet was fixed. Apparently, my network card (not wired b/c my computer is upstairs, and the router is downstairs) had some loose antennae. Now my internet is slow again, but I think it might just be the network card (10+ years old) just going bad. While gaming, if I just messed around with the antennae a little bit, the signal would become strong again, and my ping would go back down. How can I tell if my internet problem is due to a bad network card?

Solution
Have you ever tried powerline networking? If you have to buy something, powerline adapters can usually provide a more consistent network than WIFI.

I just checked the antennae, and they are all connected to their ports tightly. Should I buy a new network card? If so, which one do you recommend?
