I've been having a ton of problems with my TP-Link wi fi adapter (Model TL-WN725N), the internet is either not working or too slow.

I have an internet speed of 10 megabytes (1200 kbps aprox) of which i'm getting less than 1/4, tested the connection with an Android phone and a laptop (that were in the same room, to test signal strenght) and both seem to be working fine. I already tried unistanlling and reinstalling the drivers several times, turning off and on the modem, and used CCleaner to clear the registry and nothing works.

Any tips on how to fix this problem? Or at least a way i can run some tests to identify the problem?

I bought that same card for my girlfriends gaming pc and I wound up just making myself a wicked long Ethernet cable because of the same issues. Seemed like unless I was right on top of the router or had a good and direct line of site for the adapter to reach the access point the signal was flaky. Have you tried moving closer to your router to see if the signal improves?

I

Cant move it closer, the PC and modem are in different rooms and there's no space to place it in the modems room, i could try to move it just to test the signal strength though.

I can just look for user opinions on the adapter, see if that's the problem.
