I just received it and it doesn't fit into my PCI slots, the heck?? I'm such a noob at this. I thought PCI cards fit no matter what. My motherboard is Maximus VII Hero. http://rog.asus.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/M7H_2D.jpg

Why don't they fit?? And whats the correct card I need 2 make it work? Thanks!

Solution
You purchased a PCI card and you're expecting it to fit into a PCI Express slot? Not going to happen.

Return the card and buy a PCI Express card.
