Can I use this USB 2.0 to 3.0 adapter for this DIYPC case?

Hey guys,

So, my friend recently gave me his old ASUS P8Z68-M Pro motherboard along with an i7 2600k. The motherboard has USB 2.0 headers but no 3.0 headers and the case I'm looking at has dual USB 3.0 ports, will this adapter work? I tried looking at the pictures on Newegg to see the type of plug that was hanging in the case.

Thanks in advance!

Edit: for some reason I can't post the photos so here are the links to the case and the adapter so you can see for yourselves:

Fine with me :) I've been stuck with an old HP Pavilion laptop for a while, so I'm used to USB 2.0 haha, just wanted to know if the male was included with the case and I would have to buy a female adapter.

Thank you!
