Hi, I'm installing the Samsung 950 Nvme drive into an Asus H170 Pro Gaming mobo. The manual explains the following: "When the M.2 Socket 3 is operating in SATA mode, SATA port 1 will be disabled". Presumably this won't be a problem since I'm using PCIe3.0 x4 mode. However, it also states: "When PCIEX1_2 or PCIEX1_3 is occupied by x1 device,PCIEX16_2
will be at x2 mode." Does this mean that I have to leave PCIEX1_2 and PCIEX1_3 empty in order to get x4 mode from the m.2 socket?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this.

1| Can you please pass on your fulls system's specs?
2| You're going to be fine if you are operating on one GPU and any other storage devices requiring a SATA port can be plugged into the second SATA port onward.
3| No, you can populate the X1 slots but that will only mean your second X16 slot will be running in X2 mode as the 4 lanes meant for the secondary PCI-E x16 slot is distributed among the other two x1 slots(meaning 1 lane lost to each).
