Hi guys,

I installed a Gigabyte GTX 960 video card today. When I try play some games(like witcher 3 or overwatch), my system shutdown and in the event viewer of windows, I see the message Kernel-Power code (41).

After that, I installed my old video card, a GTX 560 TI and the problem dissapeared.

Is my PSU weak for these components?

Thanks for the help and sorry for the bad english.

My specs:
Processor: AMD Fx 8350
Mobo: Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0
video card: Gigabyte GTX 960 4GB

Solution
No, that power supply should be fine, the 960 has a lower power draw than the 560 Ti. If the 560 works fine, the 960 should also. Try doing a BIOS update while the old card is in, also uninstall and re-install the video card drivers, make sure all power is seated properly.

It may be a motherboard issue or the card is bad.
