I'm looking at desktops(Travel a lot, so dekstop is out of the question.), and I see one with a GTX 980M 8GB, and one with a GTX 980M SLi, but more a much more hefty price tag.

Question being: Should I go with a regular 980M or fork out extra for the SLi. I'm looking to play games coming out this year like Mafia 3, Dishonored 2, Dead Rising 4, BF1, etc., on High 60FPS.

Solution
if you planing to game on 1080p, 1 is going to be enough.
The other thing to consider, is external graphics card.
It's a small box with PSU and slot for PCIe card that connects to your computer with TB2 or TB3.
The box will cost you around 250USD. But it wont work on the move

That's good. So the 980M can probably run later games on high-tweaked ultra? such as Mafia 3, Battlefield 1, Dead Rising 4?
