My idle temps are 34 degrees C, while overclocked to 4.6 Ghz at 1.190 volts. I feel like this is a bit high for the cooler I got, but I am running integrated graphics. Does this increase the temps a lot? Should these temps be lower?

Solution
Is your pump plugged into the fan header? Fans working?
Again it comes with paste. Remove that first.
Did you install it right?
Are you sure the temp readings are correct? Use multiple software or hardware hardware monitors. See if it's consistent.
If it's none of those then I have no idea now. Or I might but it isn't coming to mind. Answer these first. If none for, then try starting a new thread and see if others can help you

Nope. Looks fine. And you can't tell by idle temps either. You have to look at load. Setup a fan profile. Also stress it and check temps.

That cooler is only as good as gather good air coolers. Not bad temps. The 4790k is a hot CPU overall. You want it under 80C. Under load. Can tell be idle as I said.

So those don't seem too wrong to me. Check load temps. Under 80C is fine.

Using Intel burn test, my max temp is 95 C. Using cinnebench, the max temp is 79 C. Task manager says they are both at 100% load. I'll work on setting up a fan profile and I'll Give you and update. Thx for the fast answer btw!

Made fan profile, 2-3 degrees improvement. I'll be getting a GPU soon, will that significantly decrease my temps because no longer using int graphics?

Something is wrong. The CPU should not go over 85C. When Intel hits 105C it will shit down. Those are dangerous temps. Especially with s h100 i GT.
Did you apply thermal paste? Enoguh, good paste?
Did you remove the cooler plastics strip?
Is the cooler tight?
Is the pump running?
Did you reapply paste every time you took the cooler off?

Yep, I put a pea sized drop on the TIM, I removed the plastic, and it is tight. I can't move it at all when it is mounted. I am also fairly certain the pump is running, I feel small vibration in the tubes and block. I have only removed it once, to reapply thermal paste.

Did you remove the old paste before putting on new one?

Also the H110i GT comes with pre applied paste that you might want to clean off.

Yes, I cleaned of the block and the cpu before reapplying thermal paste. I used paper towels and isopropyl alcohol and it was very clean before I reapplied thermal paste. Any other thoughts about why so hot?

I can't really feel the hot air coming out of the rad and the pipes feel the same temp. Does this mean my pump is not working? Should I get a replacement?

Iv tried tilting the rad around, cleaned and reapplied thermal compound (arctic silver 5). same temps. Would using integrated graphics raise temperatures? Is the only thing I can do is replace the cooler?

RMA it and go back to stock voltages and temps.
Use the stick cooler until you get your RMA
It shouldn't affect temps..

And then see.

How is the cooler hooked up? At anything over @70°C those fans should be at max speed and quite self evident. If corsair link is installed, this can also be the culprit.

The pump should be Sata powered from the psu. A secondary usb is for basically info to-from the mobo via usb. The fans should be attached to the pump and a connector from the pump to the cpu_fan header. If not using corsair link, don't worry about the usb connection, the fans will be run through bios via the header. In bios, cpu_fan should be enabled for performance settings with a duty cycle of 100% at @70°C to start..

Idle temps will vary depending on ambient temps, but low to mid 30's is normal in an air conditioned setting. This is also dependent on case airflow. For best airflow using a large radiator, fans should be set for exhaust, either push or pull, with other case fans as intake for a top/rear mounted cooler, reversed for a front mount cooler.

That took some time..... But cheers man

And I agree with what kardjgne says. It depends on what AIO or custom system you have more.
