So I have a Alienware aurora and I am looking to upgrade the gpu and cpu and some ram. This is my motherboard Intel P55 MicroATX LGA 1156. My cpu I want to upgrade to is the i5-6600k and my gpu I want to upgrade to is the Gtx 980 ti. Will this motherboard let me overclock and will it support my new components. Thanks please let me know.

The 1156 socket is an older mobo and won't support a 6600K which runs on the 1151 mobo socket. While you can prob run a 980Ti on your mobo, whatever CPU you have will probably bottleneck it. I'd go the 980Ti, the 6600K and plan on buying a new mobo
