What is the weakest link in my gaming computer?

I built a gaming machine, I used what was available to me and what I could afford. When I play games, it doesn't seem like I am getting nearly the frame rate that I thought I would, and it often reduces considerably in frame rate during gameplay for sometimes minute or more at a time. When I hook up multiple screens...forget it.

I am wondering if there are certain sub-par components that I used that maybe won't let the better components work to their ability, and that is why I am here. I would be grateful if someone could number the components that I list in order of best to worst, and/or maybe make some recommendations as to what my next upgrade moves should be.

Thanks so much, and I really appreciate the time!

COMPONENTS:

Power Supply: Seasonic X-Series 1050w
Motherboard: GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD5 Ultra Durable
Processor: AMD Black Edition FX‑6350 3.9 GHz 6‑Core
Graphics Gards: 2 X Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 OverClock Edition
2 X DVI (each card)
1 X HDMI (each card)
1 X Display Port (each card)
Crossfire capable - (doesn't seem to help much)
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series - 4X 2gb (8 total)
HD: Transcend SSD430 Solid State HD - SATA 6Gb/S 128Gb storage
OS: Windows 7
Cooling: Desktop case with side vents
3-4 in. fan mounted inside rear on the tower pulling air in
6 in fan mounted in the front where the drives would sit, blowing air out
Graphics cards each have 2 fans and I generally put them to max during load
CPU fan

Did I miss anything? I don't overclock, sometimes I enable crossfire but it doesn't seem to make it any better, and won't allow me more than 2 monitors, but that's a different issue.

Thank you again!

Honestly, your cpu is definitely your weakest link, and running crossfire is not the best idea. You have a very good motherboard, but the best cpu possible for it is barely competitive with the weakest current i5s. The easiest "fix" would be to get rid of the two 7850s and get something like the R9 390 or RX480.

Power Supply: Seasonic X-Series 1050w More than enough and a good unit

Motherboard: GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD5 Ultra Durable Satisfactory for the CPU

Processor: AMD Black Edition FX‑6350 3.9 GHz 6‑Core No probs

Graphics Cards: 2 X Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 OverClock Edition These cards have problems in Crossfire and not much to gain over a single Higher performing Card. They pump out a lot of heat under load and you would have issues trying to OC further without additional cooling.

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series - 4X 2gb (8 total) Good modules and depends on the frequency and XMP profile. List the P/N
