Did I break my PSU?

Hi, I recently traveled but when I got back, I noticed my computer was not working properly. Whenever I run a game now, my computer makes a noise coming from the PSU, then restarts by itself. Today though, I was watching YoutTube and it restarted for a reason that is unknown to me. I have tried reinstalling drivers for my GPU and running some commands that I found online but these were both to no avail. One common thing I found from people with similar problems is that they were mostly all told to replace their PSU. I have a problem with that though. I don't have money to buy a new PSU at the time. Because of this problem, I would like to have at least tried all other solutions to fix my computer before buying a new PSU. My PSU is a stock power supply that came with my case. It's 450W and 2.5 to 3 years old. I also upgraded my PC a few months ago, but it has been working fine until now. If I do need a new PSU, if you could tell me a good unit thats cheap that would be helpful.

There are many reasons for the problem you're experiencing. But you did mention a noise coming from your PSU and that's why I mentioned PSU's included with cases are usually junk. If you have access to another PSU, either a spare or a friend's, then I would try that.
