I am about to upgrade my old PC and would like your feedback on this build. I plan to use this system for recoding video, photoshop, gaming (skyrim, fallout 4, etc), and just everyday tasks (web browsing, email, newsgroups). I just retired and will be spending a lot of time on the PC, so I would really like feedback.

Here is what I am thinking of going with.

Great build. I made a couple of minor changes though. I also prefer the CRYORIG H7 over the CM 212, but it seems to be out of stock currently.

It shows that you spent time on this, very nice build for $1200. Great MoBo choice, GTX 1070 is great of course and you have a good quality PSU. Crap ton of storage, but I assume that's all for video editing which is fine. I personally love the 212 Evo as a go-to cooler. I don't think you should change anything really. Now go buy it and be free from the MAN and live out your retirement pwning noobs.

I went by MEI Microcenter and bought the 6700k CPU for $289 and the msi m7 motherboard for $170. They had a bundle special for $459.
The other parts are ordered (newegg and amazon).

Now just waiting.

Solid build for sure. Right now the P2 was the better buy than the G2 as the platinum rated supply was cheaper, but they're both very high quality units. Only thing I'm not sold on is the CPU cooler, but that's more personal preference than anything. It's also not big enough to run at anything but stock clock speed on the CPU. Nothing but good things to say about the mobo though!

Good luck with the build!
