do you have a copy of windows?

http://www.tomshardware.com/news/best-deals,30458.html

The dell pc has a
i7-6700 Processor
16gb ddr3
r9 360 (runs on 75 watts so you should be ok with 100w rx480 you would have to check)
for 629.00

if you dont have windows i would try going to a cheap prebuild. then drop a Ghaphics card in it. Thats if your not going to get a k processor or overclocking MB.

Give me a second let me see what else i can find

The RX480 seems to offer very good performance for its price so you should wait and see. If you dont have any Windows copy or are having struggle with it i can fix one for you if you PM me. Also what resolution are you playing on? I recommend the build i posted, The CPU is very good and overclockable, Power supply is fully modular and 80+ Gold certified, SSD as you picked, the case, Fractal Design Define S is similar to the famous Define R5 the only notable diffrence are, the Define S doesnt have a optical drive bay. The Motherboard is a good budget mobo (you can switch it to a another mobo if you dont like it.

should i put in a couple more bucks to get a harddrive for games and media storage ? Also if i were to upgrade the rig, would the power suplly be enough? let's say adding an extra 480, as i heard that two 480s can outperform a 1080? would the power supply be enough/

You should start with a cheaper SSD to install Windows on and get a WD Blue 1TB. If you plan to Crossfire 2x 480s you should get a 850W Gold certified powersupply to make sure you can CF two 480s.
