As title suggests, what do I need to upgrade in order to play rust at good fps? everyone around me are suggesting different things. Some are saying the graphics card is the problem, some say graphics card + ram, others say just ram and 32->64 bit.. I'm lost. Could someone help me please!

good point, i didn't notice the 32bit OS :)

To take advantage of the additional ram installed, a 64 bit OS is needed.

EDIT: To the OP - one very important factor which I think we have all missed is your system is a HP system. Nothing wrong with that per say, however they often use propriety PSU's (your power supply) This means the PSU's can often be poor quality, with little or no overhead for bigger, more power hungry hardware components. For example your current GPU will require very little power (i think about 45 watts for your GT630) Putting in...
Your CPU is fine. No need to change that. I'd recommend upping the ram to at least 8gb, and in addition your GPU.

Your cpu is powerful enough to drive any high end GPU, so if you have a budget, I'm sure we can come up with the right parts you need, which will get you rocking on the gaming front.

Looks to me like all you would need is a better GPU. Pick up a cheap GTX 970 and go have fun. You could add another 4 gig of system memory and you might pick up a little performance with that but the big thing is the GPU.

it would kinda be pointless buying a GTX970 (not saying it's not a good card) but if the OP is going for something on that level, he would be much better going for a GTX1080 or a 1070, which will have better performance, better efficiency, and will prob cost roughly the same.

An i7 3770 @ 3.4 with a 1070 or 1080 would be pointless since the system will then be CPU bound. 970's are very cheap and dropping daily and can be had for less than a 1070. If the OP was asking how to upgrade the entire system then a 6850k and a 1070 would be a great match...but he asked how to improve what he has...a 1070 in that case is over kill.

sorry, but your incorrect. the i7 will drive a 1080, 1070, a Titan X and any other top end GPU, and there will be no bottleneck.
The I7 is plenty powerful right now for any GPU, and even some high end GPU's in SLI. Please advise correctly.

The point about a 1070 being overkill is moot. Its the same price, better performance, more efficient than a 970. It's a no brainer.

Its really something to check. Your PSU should have a sticker on it with details. If you post that here, we can advise on that too :)
