I just bought a dell optiplex 980 desktop for $20 and it powers on and goes to bios but the ram I used was borrowed. I need ram for this computer now because it is a build for a friend of mine. I'm going to be sticking a gtx 750ti LP in it and hopefully 8gigs of ram. I know that the ram has to be non ecc, 1333mhz, and ddr3 10600. But i cant find any cheap kits out there because i'm trying to save them as much money as possible. Also is the i5 650 thats in it a quad core? because in the bios it said it was but on the intel website its saying that its a dual core 4 thread pc. (rip any games that need 4 cores aka all games).
But yeah I just need help finding 8gb (2x4gb because 8gb sticks dont work) of ddr3 10600 1333mhz ram for a dell optiplex 980 desktop.
