Hi guys,

My cousin has 2x R9 270s (no 270X, just the 270) in spare and I would like to use them. Though, when I built my PC, I only included a 550W power supply, since I at first would be using the internal HD Graphics.

Will my 550W power supply deliver enough power to use both R9 270s?

My current build:
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600 (Yup, non-K!)
Mobo: Gigabyte B150M-D3H
Memory: 4x 4GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4
PSU: Corsair VS550
Disks: 2x 3.5" hdds, 1x 2.5" ssd.

Hi,

I'm sorry, it was a misunderstanding between me and my cousin, I am only going to get one of them. But then the PSU will still provide enough power? I already checked it has the required connector.

Thanks.

A computer power supply will never "run out of power" or "not provide enough power" - contrary to what a lot of people say. It's an unrealistic scenario with computer power supply applications. All that really matters with power supplies is voltage stability and build quality.

I trust you can do the math. If the VS550 is fine for two 270s, of course it is fine for one. :)
