i have a gigabyte B75M-HD3 motherboard.will a gtx 970 ti video card be compatible with my motherboard ?

Yes it has a suitable PCIe slot on it. The other thing you need to think about is your Power Supply, as high performance graphics cards require quite a bit of power.
Also are you sure its a '970ti' card? I've never heard of that model before....
