Looking foe help for Cpu socket

Alright so if i have a hewlett-packard hp compaq 8000 elite sff pc and the socket is lga 775. Wil a intel Core 2 Extreme QX6850 Kentsfield 3.0GHz 2 x 4MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor - Retail will this work in my pc?

That CPU is supported by your motherboard, the socket type for the QX6850 is the same, LGA775. Just please make sure you have some good cooling and a reliable power-supply, as it's 130W.
