My parents work recently found that after putting a box on top of their 10yr old router that they had burnt the insides so they got me to buy a new one and set it up. Ok i am not the best on networking so after all the setup processes i found that apparently there was no adsl connection so i did the windows troubleshooting and it has told me something along the lines of, the ISP dosent like your new router, as far as i can remember it said something about passwords and settings. any help?
