I'm not positive, but with video editing you might want to upgrade that build to an i7 and you may need a video card as well. Like I said, I'm not totally sure since I've mainly dealt with gaming rigs and CAD/rendering rigs. If I'm wrong and you don't need the hyperthreading or a dedicated graphics card, then I'm sure that will do just fine. I'd do some research on what hardware your video editing program recommends and go from there.

As far as gaming is concerned, I have a very similar system to what you are posting (i5 4460, Sapphire R9 380 4GB, 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz, SSD 850 Pro 256GB, Corsair RMx 650 Gold Certified) and I am playing pretty much everything @ ultra with some downranking in AO, AA, Shadows depending on the game e.g. Doom @ high settings gives me a stable ~60fps, Witcher 3 on Ultra with medium shadows, foliage setting and medium post processing. Anyway, what I want to say is that your rig will be able to do a lot more than "light gaming" especially since you are getting a RX480 (I am upgrading to that one as well).

No idea about video editing though.
