I need help choosing on a motherboard and CPU for a NAS Build, ill be using FreeNAS
i am upgrading my PC so i already have some parts available
i have 2x4gb HyperX ddr3 RAM and would like to use it but not necessary
and I will start with 3 2tb hard drives and expand from there as it fills up
all i need are a CPU and motherboard
what i need them to do is
-has to be a mini ATX or smaller
- Low power consumption it will be on 24/7 (live in California)
- i will be backing up 2 computers on it
- will connect to less than 10 people at any 1 time
- handle anything from 3 - 6 hard drives
- and be able to stream movies from it
I would like to spend around 200$ or less on both of these items if possible
