Simple i5 6600k Price Drop?

hey guys,
I'm not sure if I am behind the times, but lately I have been looking at a new pc build. I was set on not spending the extra money and go with the i5 6500 non-k. But when I checked today, the price of the i5 6600k dropped from ~$244ish to $219 on both newegg and amazon. The 6600k is now cheaper than the 6600 non-k and ~$10 more than the 6500 non-k. I was wondering if anyone had news why? If this is temporary I better at least pick up the cpu now.

probably temporary. a temp price drop from intel. happens from time to time.

if you're in the market, this would be a good time to grab the bargain. don't forget the "k" cpu's don't come with a cooler anymore, so you'll need to get one of those as well which adds to the price.
