Hi,
I was just wondering whether or not this PC build would be good enough for playing most current games on high/ultra, as well as being able to run future games on high/ultra.

CPU: AMD FX-8350
Motherboard: ASUS 970 PRO GAMING/AURA (DDR3, USB3.0, 6Gb/s, Crossfire/SLI)
RAM: 16GB Kingston Dual-DDR3 1600MHz (2x8GB)
GPU: 4GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 970
Hard Disk (1): 120GB Kingston UV400 2.5"SSD, SATA 6 Gb
Hard Disk (2): 1TB SATA-III 3.5" HDD, 6GB/s, 7200RPM, 32MB CACHE
Power Supply: Corsair 550W VS Series VS-550 Power Supply

Cheers.

Solution
It' s bad build overall.
You should not invest in that dead platform. An i5 will serve you alot better and the platform has a future. Also it's not a good time to be buying GTX 970s. Wait until the end of the month and get the RX 480 coming out for $200 US with close to GTX 980 level performance.
That PSu is also of poor quality.

Get this instead:

Memory: *GeIL EVO POTENZA 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($47.98 @ Newegg)

IF it's too expensive, we can go with an i3 6100. It will game the same or better than that FX.

looks good for 1080p Med. Just dont expect much from CPU driven games like the free warhammer you get with that cpu. Warhammer still has not iron out it's bugs and even pushes my i7 hard. Whats your timeline on building this PC?

Cheers for the reply. I found most of the items on the UK equivalent websites. I noticed its a micro-ATX mobo, would a micro-ATX case be sufficient or will I need a full case? If so any recommendations?

Thank you.
