Both are 2.5-inch SATA3 240GB SSD. Which one should I choose? Are there other factors I should take into account?

SanDisk Extreme PRO 240GB
TLC
550/520 MB/s
10-year warranty
slightly more expensive

Kingston HyperX Savage 240GB
MLC
560/530 MB/s
3-year warranty
slightly cheaper

Solution
Frankly speaking I wouldn't buy any. I would either invest in an Evo 850 or simply buy A-Data SP550. Both are way better value-performance SSDs.
The Savage is better than the Samsung as far as I'm concerned, by a tiny bit. The fact that it's got a ram disk is irrelevant because it's volatile and you may lose data.

I second the SP550, probably the best bang-for-buck SSD on the market right now. TLC cache is so common and when they run out of cache they slow down anyways.

Don't ever trust the benchmarks which don't push the drives, i.e whole Amazon posting screenshots of 1 GiB tests.

It´s simple. Don´t buy TLC. ;)

If you need to flip every penny twice, A-Data SP550 with TLC will be OK considered the price. If you can afford it, Transcend SSD370 with MLC will be a better solution.

Just my 2 cents.^^
