Powercolor 7870 GHz Edition Fan

This is a 3 part question.
1st) Where to get a replacement fan for it. I know it's a 92mm fan, but it's not really a case fan, I can handle modding it, but I'd like to get it as close to stock as I can.

2nd) It's from my parents computer, and I don't know how long it's been broken. I use it to play games when I'm there, they use it for solitaire, so it's possible that it's been dead for a while, I put Heaven on there and ran that for a few seconds to see if there were any artifacting or anything out of place, when the temp hit 55C which took about 30 seconds, I shut it off. Should I get them a new card?

3rd) They are at 1080p and they are gamers, but as I said before, solitaire, all kinds of solitaire, and marble shooters... So they don't play demanding games, but for when I'm there I like to play, for lack of a better term, real games, they have an FM2+ board with an AMD 750K, around where should I be for a new graphics card for games like Diablo 3, just casual older stuff. I was kinda thinkin Polaris 460/470 maybe. I don't mind spending a couple hundred bucks, but the 1070 seems overkill, and really the 900 series seems overpriced right now in comparison. Also, there's no rush, My computer is awesome.

Solution
There should be replacement fans, if they are too expensive.

Put a case fan overtop of where the dead fan is. Use tiewraps, black electrical tape to attach the fan.

For now underclock the card as much as will go. On my HD-7850's the clock goes down to 300mhz. Also set powertune -20% so it's less power too. The card should run fine like that without a fan.

Didn't even think about powertune. Was a diehard AMD fan until I needed HDMI 2.0. Now that it's been mentioned, I can rework the bios on that guy easy enough. I like the idea of zip tying fans to it though... Ya, I think I'll go that route.

Hehe, I know that. I found a couple fans in my closet, gonna get them to may parents' house soon as I can, told my dad he gets to take the shroud off and zip tie the fans to it, got a splitter, cause the fans are both 4 pin PWM and he's only got two fan connectors on his motherboard... Sounds like fun though.

It should work, those cards run fairly cool.

If you can put two fans beside each other, that would be even better.

I put the new fan on the shroud in front of the old fan. This wont work if you need to have other cards beside it, or there is something in the way.
Also i unplugged and either removed, or made the old fan stop turning so it wont make noise. (The old fan will rattle if you let it turn from the air from the new fan)

-Did you look for a replacement fan? It is nicer to get the actual fan. If it is not too expensive the 7870 is still a decent card and worth repairing properly vs. making a old case fan fit.

I couldn't find one on Newegg, and I'm wary of eBay for used computer parts, with fans like that, you don't know what it was pulled from, rarely do they have new ones, even if they say their new I've had them get here with dust on them and such, I won't be selling the card, so there's no worry about it being all original, just gotta work.
